Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.....

A Creed To Live by Nancye Sims.

"Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.

It is because we are different that each of us are special. Don't set your goals by what other people deem important. Only do what is best for you.

Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless.

Don't let life slip through your fingers by living in the past or in the future. By living one day at a time you live all days of your life.

Don't give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is the fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Don't be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Don't shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible. The fastest way to lose love is to hold to it tightly, and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

Don't dismiss your dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope, to be without hope is to be without purpose.

Don't run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savoured each step of the way."

Sharing a Great Blog Post by Robin Sharma

I wanted to share this Great Blog Post by Robin Sharma ~ Lead Where you are Planted

"All too often, we wait until ideal conditions appear before we show up at our best. We promise to display more initiative once we get the promotion, become a superb teammate once we get the raise and do world-class work once we receive the applause. But true leadership is about doing you’re absolute best under imperfect conditions. And leading where you are planted. An example.

On my last speaking tour, the final event was in Johannesburg. Post-workshop, our CEO and myself went out for a meal in Nelson Mandela Square. The sun was shining, the food was pretty good, the service was fine. But it was the awesome display of one distinct Leader Without a Title that still resonates in my mind. And that I need to tell you about.

As I walked into the washroom, I was greeted by a young man with a 1000 watt smile. His job was clearly to keep the place clean. Some would call him a janitor. But to me, he viewed himself as an inventor… innovating and iterating within his sphere of responsibility.

“Welcome to my office,” he spoke, with a sparkle in his eyes. “It’s nice to have you visit.” His uniform was impeccable. His counters were immaculate. And his manners, superb. He could have made excuses to deny his enthusiasm. Could have complained about the base position, the lack of authority, the limited power. But he didn’t.

Instead, he assumed his power-to influence all those he met, to impact others by his excellent example, and to inspire all by transcending his conditions. This young man did his work like Rembrandt painted, Beckham bends the ball, like Colombus explored.

My true point? No job is just a job, unless it’s viewed as just a job. All work is a platform to express creative potential, offer value and make a unique contribution. But we each face a choice each day as we walk out into the world: we can play a victim or we can step up to leadership. And in this messy, disrupted world we now work within, leadership at every level has become the single best way to win.

Keep Leading Without A Title. Robin Sharma"

Develop Success Deep Within You

Develop Success Deep Within You

by Jane Powell on June 10, 2011

“True success.”

Success is not in your environment. It is not controlled by luck, chance, or the influence of others. Success is not in the greener pastures on the other side of the fence. Success lies right where you are – here and now!

You don’t need greater abilities, or greater opportunities. You already possess what you need for success to develop deep within you. So, don’t look elsewhere. Instead, expect the seeds of success to grow from your heart.

Starting today, vow to focus, explore and take action on what you have and what you can do. When you do, success will surely follow.

Are you a Hawk or a Crow.....Or possibly both?

The Hawk vs. The Crow

I have been seeing many Hawks lately in the Pacific Northwest. I have noticed an abundance of them for about a year now. I am not sure if it is the weather, time of year, or area, but they seem to be everywhere. It’s not a bad thing, as I LOVE watching them!!!

I could watch them for hours just flying in the sky. There are many things I think when I see them flying. Things such as, what are they flying towards, what are they searching for, and will they find what they are looking for.

There are many times I see them, just perched, on the light posts of our highway lights, that I drive along and they give me a peaceful feeling at times, like they are watching over our safety and for some reason, always feel better when I see them.

Then, occasionally I will see a crow flying at them, looking like they are wanting “a piece of the Hawk”. First thing that comes to mind is, “Are you kidding me, that is a hawk, you are looking to fight, you are going to lose that battle.” Then I remember something my mom told me, the Crow is going after the Hawk because the Hawk was going after, or flying to close, to the Crows nest.

Well, that was a big eye opener for me. The Crow, which I was thinking had NO chance against this beautiful huge Hawk was trying to protect his young. Of course he would try to defend it. Wouldn’t we all when it comes to our children????

Which is right? That might be the unanswered question! I personally love watching the Hawks fly in abundance around our area…..Does that mean I think it’s right to invade the Crow’s territory? Not necessarily. Everything in life happens for a reason. Let the best “Bird” win.

Sometimes this scenario makes me think of my business…..in more ways than one. The Hawk, searching for what he wants, and the Crow protecting what he has, and won’t let anyone else in.

On, a personal note, 10 years ago, I think I became a bit of the Hawk and a bit of the Crow. With the "Hawk" part of me I decided what I wanted regarding working from home, went for it, and have been happy and fortunate everyday since then. Being a single mom, there is nothing better and more gratifying that being home with my son and being able to work around HIS schedule! The "Crow" part of me thought I could never harm my child with toxic products and why would I not want better safer ones, knowing they were costing me anymore than what I was already spending. A "No Brainer" for me, all around!!!

I have had and seen many opportunities over the last 10+ years, maybe similar to the Crow protecting what he has. But nothing has come close to the opportunity that I found and have been working for all these years.

The wonderful thing about my business is I am able to do different things….help your family get better, safer, non toxic, non cancer causing products…..And, if you choose, to work from home WITHOUT having to sell anything!!!

Famous Buddhist Quotes & Sayings

Famous Buddhist Quotes & Sayings

Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death can erase our good deeds.

You only lose what you cling to.

Fill your mind with compassion.

We live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is a reality. We are that reality. When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, and being nothing, you are everything. That is all.

The Four Reliances
First, rely on the spirit and meaning of the teachings, not on the words;
Second, rely on the teachings, not on the personality of the teacher;
Third, rely on real wisdom, not superficial interpretation;
And fourth, rely on the essence of your pure Wisdom Mind, not on judgmental perceptions.

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make our world.

Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.

Pay no attention to the faults of others, things done or left undone by others.
Consider only what by oneself is done or left undone.

What we think, we become.

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned.

Do not overrate what you have received, nor envy others.

He who envies others does not obtain peace of mind.

An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind

Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.

Anger will never disappear so long as thoughts of resentment are cherished in the mind. Anger will disappear just as soon as thoughts of resentment are forgotten.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.

On life's journey Faith is nourishment,

Virtuous deeds are a shelter, Wisdom is the light by day and Right mindfulness is the protection by night.

If a man lives a pure life nothing can destroy him; If he has conquered greed nothing can limit his freedom.

Dreams Come True in Time

Everyone is a CEO

I saw this today on Robin Sharma's Blog and thought it was GREAT!!!

"Everyone is a CEO

CEO is not some special title reserved for a chosen few. CEO is an attitude. CEO is a belief system. CEO is a philosophy for life. It’s a way of living that leads to remarkable results on all levels. Everyone can walk the way of CEO. Here are 5 steps to help you:

1. Stay at the Edge

Serious achievers look for and love change. They’ve learned to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. To play full out in your field, to lead in life, you must hug the edge. Uncertainty is big opportunity for those that lean into the ride. Look to the front-runners, they understand that the edge is the safest place to be during times of uncertainty.

2. Perfect Positive Perspective

Your life is too big to play with the smallness of a negative perspective.

3. Take Ultimate Responsibility for Results

No blame. No excuses. Not today. Not ever. When challenged, successful people ask “What am I going to do about it?” And do it.

4. “I Am…” Statements

You become the story you sell yourself. Anthony Hopkins, otherwise known as,Sir Hopkins, Renaissance Man and Living Legend cautions “Be careful what you feed your brain. What happens if you pour negative information in there, or positive information? You change the balance of your nature.”

CEO’s that win shred the negative internal audio with powerful “I Am” statements.

5. Open up the View

Innovative CEO’s invent fresh ideas. They think and talk beyond trends and headlines. They contribute fresh, cutting edge, not-rolling-off -everybody’s- tongue type knowledge. Ask yourself, who would influence you more? The CEO who originates ideas or borrows them? Invent, share and invite fresh ideas.

6. Constant State of Motion

If you let things slow down, they deteriorate. Maintain a constant state of motion. Vow at sunrise to make change happen before sunset. Tension (passionate goal setting) is a fantastic way to stay out of stagnation.

Keep Leading Without A Title." ~ Robin Sharma

Who you want to be ?

I saw this today via Positive Thoughts and thought it was great!

What we are contributes much more to our happiness than what we have. . . .
What we are in ourselves, what accompanies us when we are alone, what no one can give us or take away, is obviously more essential to us than everything we have in the way of possessions, or even what we may be in the eyes of the world.

Arthur Schopenhauer

We should know what our convictions are, and stand for them.
Upon one's own philosophy, conscious or unconscious,
depends one's ultimate interpretation of facts.
Therefore it is wise to be as clear as possible
about one's subjective principals.
As we are, so will be our ultimate truth.

Carl Jung

Material possessions will rust away, wear away, or depreciate,
but your inner resources--character--must never depreciate.
In seeking success you must also seek fulfillment.
Ask yourself not only what you want to be, but who you want to be.

Procrastination.......Do you suffer from it?!?!?!

"Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it, it is much easier to procrastinate and live on the "someday I'll" philosophy." ~ Denis Waitley

I love this Quote......Procrastination can hurt/hinder so many people. If you have not picked up the following book yet, and you are a procrastinator.......DO IT NOW!!! It is "The Procrastinator's Handbook" by Rita Emmett

I will add, I can't help but laugh when it comes to a post on this subject and someone is telling you do something....your thought may very well be "I will do it tomorrow, or next week." Let me tell you, THAT very thought is why you need to read this book!!!

Obstacles

This is a Great video/audio from the Great John Maxwell.

He says in this video "Realism is a Great Friend in your life." This quote is So True and I think we all need to realize this.

Take a listen, it's a great One Minute!

http://johnmaxwellteam.com/obstacles/

Determination, No Matter What, No Excuses

Wow…..those three phrases can mean a lot to a lot of different people. For me, and this specific blog post, it is for me personally.

My sister, her best friend, and I have decided to be a part of the “Warrior Dash” this coming September. “Warrior Dash is a Mud-Crawling, Fire-Leaping, Extreme Run from Hell. This fierce running series is held on the most challenging and rugged terrain across the globe. Warriors conquer extreme obstacles, push their limits, and celebrate with kick-ass music, beer and warrior helmets.”

It is 3.18 “Hellish Miles”

Really?!?!?!?!? So for those that know me, you are thinking “wow, really, you couldn’t possibly do this.” For those that don’t, well, you don’t know any better to say yes or no in regards to whether actually do it or not…..

For all of you, I say “YES I CAN, AND I WILL!!!!!”

There is nothing stronger than:
Determination…..I CAN DO IT!!!!
No Matter What…..EXACTLY!!!!
No Excuses……NONE FOR ME!!!!

I WILL DO THE Warrior Dash in September!!!!

It is going to take a LOT of work…But I KNOW I CAN DO IT!!!!

Wish me the Best of Luck… Although, in reality I won’t need it!!!!

Anything is Possible

If there was ever a time to dare, to make a difference,
to embark on something worth doing, IT IS NOW.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily. . .
but for something that tugs at your heart, something that's
your inspiration, something that's your dream.

You owe it to yourself to make your days here count.
HAVE FUN.
DIG DEEP.
STRETCH.

DREAM BIG.

Know, though, that things worth doing seldom come easy.
There will be good days.
And there will be bad days.
There will be times when you want to turn around, pack it up,
and call it quits. Those times tell you
that you are pushing yourself, that you are not afraid to learn by trying.

PERSIST.

Because with an idea, determination, and the right tools,
you can do great things. Let your instincts, your intellect,
and your heart, guide you.

TRUST.

Believe in the incredible power of the human mind.
Of doing something that makes a difference.
Of working hard.
Of laughing and hoping.
Of lazy afternoons.
Of lasting friends.
Of all the things that will cross your path this year.

The start of something new brings the hope of something great,
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Finish Strong

“I challenge you to find two words that more absolutely define a performance objective. The words ‘finish strong’ are pervasively used in our culture, and they are a perfect example of how the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. When you combine “Finish” with “Strong” you create a powerful platform for action.”

And here are a couple of Finish Strong reminders for each of us:

Is it a "Dream" to work from home?

Is it a dream, or possibly your dream to work from home? I had always had that dream.....work from home, stay home with my children, ME raise them (and not someone else).

I know this is a dream for many people. Even if you are working outside the home now, because you HAVE to, that is okay. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

When I first starting working from home, I was married, we were both working FT outside the house making decent incomes......But I was pregnant, and I ALWAYS had that dream of being at home. I knew we couldn't do it on my husbands income alone so I started looking.....

A VERY LONG story short, I found something I could do from home. I was still working outside the house but starting building my business with Internet CeoMoms While I worked FT outside the house I built my home based business and was so excited for what it would do for our family.

Unfortunately (then) I became separated before my son was born, and am so thankful I found our team and business.

An Even longer story, even more short.....10 1/2 years later.....I have been a work at home mom for my boy. I have been able to stay home with him and have been able to be a part of his school functions and all of his sports activities, which is good, because he is a sports FREAK!!!!

I can't imagine what my life would be like if I had to work outside the home and had to support myself and my son with an income (from outside the home) and worry about being there for all his activities.

You REALLY can Do anything you put your mind to......Knowing there is an avenue you can take and really make your DREAMS a REALITY is AMAZING!!!!!

You can get the details NOW by going by clicking HERE!

Wow! This Quote REALLY makes you think!!!

"No matter what happens, no matter how far you seem to be away from where you want to be, never stop believing that you will somehow make it. Have a unrelenting belief that things will work out, that the long road has a purpose, that the things that you desire may not happen today, but they will happen. Persist and persevere, your desired path remains possible." ~ Brad Gast, a Positively Positive fan

Successful people don't say that.......

LOVE this post by Heather Calhoun. Her post on her blog at www.HeatherCalhoun.com is something we should all think about!!!

I think I can.
I hope so.
I’m gonna try it.
I want to do it.

No need to waste your breath on those phrases.
You are or you aren’t!

People who succeed use these words…

I am.

Allowing negative and doubtful thoughts into your mind is self-destructive.

The Recipe for Success

The Recipe for Success ~ Get Immediate Access to some Great Videos regarding what to look for and what to avoid with respect to ANY Home Business.

www.WeAreEnhancingLives.com

I hope you can take a lot from the information you will see!

Every day is a New Beginning!

Every day is a new beginning. Treat it that way. Stay away from what might have been, and look at what can be.

"This very instant" is all we have. We make plans for the future, we invoke memories of the past, but really, all we have to deal with and to act in is the moment at hand. We cannot stop its going; we cannot hurry the next moment on its way. Like everyone else in the world, we're partners in the dull, humdrum, dazzling, fabulous,
totally unpredictable moment. And if we have a time that is "out time," it's right now. It has to be, because there isn't any other. Maybe we've had times in the past that were special for us; maybe the future will hold precious moments. But the only time that is truly "our time" is this time, where we are, right now. And what we do with this time is ours to decide.

"We can smile, breathe, walk, and eat our meals in a way that allows us to be in touch with the abundance of happiness that is available. We are very good at preparing to live, but not very good at living. We know how to sacrifice ten years
for a diploma, and we are willing to work very hard to get a job, a car, a house, and so on. But we have difficulty remembering that we are alive in the present moment, the only moment there is for us to be alive. Every breath we take, every step we make, can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity. We need only to be awake, alive in the present moment." Thich Nhat Hanh

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses.....

How will you choose to live your life each day?

Living with purpose and passion is based upon decision. You may choose to live day after day, one after another, in a completely ordinary existence. OR you can choose to greet each day with a possibility mindset. A purposeful mindset. A Passionate mindset.

Begin each day with these questions and be amazed.

1. Why is it important for me to engage myself in my work passionately and purposefully each day?

2. How will I choose to allow my attitude effect how I address stressful situations at work today? How can I be more affective and proactive in regards to stress and attitude?

3. When am I most likely too react with the most passion and purpose today? Meeting with clients? Working on my computer? Following up on a lead? Take note of what makes your passion come alive, so you can use it to better your work performance.

4. Where within the organization am I best able to express my passion and purpose? Is it working with my peers? My supervisors? Clients? Interdepartmentally? Where physically do I perform the most purposefully?

5. With whom do I need to spend time in order to maintain balance as I pursue my passion and purpose? Within the organization, who best supports me?

6. What choices will I make today that align my purpose and passion with the tasks at hand at work?

7. Who am I called to be today as an expression of my passion for living?

Bound out of Bed.....Do what you LOVE!!!

This is a quote that I love....it really does say it all! One of the things I love most about my "job" is that I get to help others Every Single Day to work from home and help turn their dreams into reality! Why not work from home and help others do the same thing?

Success is waking up in the morning, whoever you are, wherever you are, however old or young, and bounding out of bed because there's something out there that you love to do, that you believe in, that you're good at - something that's bigger than you are, and you can hardly wait to get at it again today. ~Whit Hobbs

Love this Quote

"When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves." ~ Jack Canfield

Excuses......Something to think about.

"People spend too much time finding other people to blame, too much energy finding excuses for not being what they are capable of being, and not enough energy putting themselves on the line, growing out of the past, and getting on with their lives." ~~J. Michael Straczynski~~

Don't Lose your Head!

Don't Lose Your Head!

With the economy the way it is, more and more families are looking to work from home. With a job... you can only go so far. Your income is limited in most cases. You are working outside the home... putting in time with your commute to and from work... and quite possibly in a job that really isn't satisfying.

So, why do people do it?? It's simple... BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO!

We all need money to pay the bills, we need a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, food on the table, etc...

Many look for different options. How can I work from home and make more money AND have more time freedom??

Then the search begins. In today's world people turn to the internet. Google is an incredible thing, isn't it?

Have you ever tried googling "work from home"? "how to make money from home"? It's amazing what you'll find. The internet has all the answers, doesn't it?

However, you MUST not lose your head. Remember your parents saying to you, "If it sounds too good to be true, it likely is."? Don't forget about your common sense. Chances are, if you read on the internet that you can make thousands of dollars right away.... it's too good to be true.

Don't fall into the trap of getting really excited before you really know what you are getting excited about.

There are reputable companies out there... but it's up to you to do your research!

Just because a website tells you what they have to offer works, doesn't necessarily mean that it does in fact work. Just because someone calls you and tells you that you can start earning an income right away, it doesn't mean you actually will.

You may be thinking... ya ya... I know all of this..I am a smart person with a good head on my shoulders. That may be true... but you would be amazed at the different so-called "work at home opportunities" educated people fall for.

Think about what it is you want from working from home. A reliable income? Time freedom? A proven system that WORKS? Do you want to cold call people? Do you want to sell a product or service? Do you want to partner with a company that has been in business for less than 5 years?....Or, would it make sense to partner with a company that has built credibility? Do you want a company that is debt-free?

The list of questions could go on and on... but you get the point. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get sucked into the "look at all you 'could' have". Go for what you CAN have.

Almost anyone can be successful working from home... IF they have a strong why, strong goals, a work ethic and motivation... and of course THE RIGHT COMPANY.

Cheers to your success!!

The Five Agreements By Don Miguel Ruiz

This is an invitation to be authentic, to follow your heart, to be free of superstitions and lies. And I’m not asking you to try to change the world. Don’t try – just do it. Take the action today. By adopting the Five Agreements, you will create peace in your head, in your own world, and thereby help to create peace in the entire world.

The Five Agreements:

1. Be Impeccable With Your Word – Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don’t Take Anything Personally – Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

3. Don’t Make Assumptions – Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4. Always Do Your Best – Your best is going to change from moment to moment. It will be different when you are healthy as opposed to when you are sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

5. Be Skeptical, But Learn to Listen – Don’t believe yourself or anybody else. Use the power of doubt to question everything you hear: Is it really the truth? Listen to the intent behind the words, and you will understand the real message.
