Struggling with Procrastination? Eat That Frog!

Have you eaten your “Frog” Today?

William James once said “Procrastination is attitude’s natural assassin. There’s nothing so fatiguing as an uncompleted task.”

Over the years I have found this statement to be true, in both my personal life as well as my business life. I have been Procrastinating about a Blog Post about Procrastination!!! If that isn’t a sure sign that I am a true Procrastinator!!!!

Brian Tracy says it best when he talks about Eating your “Frog” at the beginning of your day. “Your “frog” should be the most difficult task on your Things-to-do List.”

Imagine if you took care of the most difficult thing FIRST, how do you think you will feel? Relieved? Accomplished? Ready to move onto the next, not so difficult thing?

If you were to leave the Frog sitting there for the day, what do you think will happen the following day? I know first hand what will happen. It will sit there the next day, and the next day, and the day after that as well. Pretty soon, a week, a month, 3 months have gone by and guess what is STILL sitting there???? THAT DARN FROG!!!

“Procrastination can take a surprisingly high toll on your life, causing stress, illness, and low self-esteem. It keeps you from attaining your goals and fulfilling your dreams.” Rita Emmett, Author of The Procrastinator’s Handbook”

I am tired of the "Ribbit, Ribbit, Ribbit," I hear each and everyday. Are You?

For those struggling with Procrastination be sure to take a look at Brian Tracy’s “Eat that Frog.” You can watch a short clip at www.EatThatFrogMovie.com. Another great resource I have found is “The Procrastinator’s Handbook” written by Rita Emmett.

I will leave you with one last quote regarding Procrastination!

”Beneath procrastination lives fear.” ~ Robin Sharma

DO NOT LIVE IN FEAR.....EAT THAT FROG, I JUST DID!!!
